Executive Seminar Description

Our seminars will give students and executives the opportunity to interact in a close environment, where they can discuss in-depth the executive’s understanding of the changing landscape of the business world. Students will be able to ask questions and connect with business leaders in a way that is afforded exclusively by Business Today and the International Conference. The theme of the conference is the “Redefining Innovation: Leading the 21st Century Revolution”, specifically focusing on (1) Inspiration: learn from executives who did it first, (2) Innovation: practice new methods in various fields, and (3) Implementation: sustain/apply beyond the 3 days. Seminars will focus on these three areas, weaving executives’ personal stories, company work, and overall industry experience.

Case Study Competition

Each attendee will be a part of a team of 8-10 students that collaborate to come up with their own innovative solution to the case study. Our attendees will receive guidance from industry-leading executives and compete for a prize to meet with an executive in an intimate setting.

Impact Challenge: Win $15k
Seed Funding for Your Social Venture

This year, we are continuing the annual BT Impact Challenge, a seed-funding competition for students interested in social entrepreneurship. The Challenge is open to social entrepreneurs all over the world, including those accepted to the Conference through our regular application. The five chosen teams receive a month of mentorship from top business executives, as well as the chance to compete at the International Conference for $15,000 in seed funding.
Last year's winner was the nonprofit Upsolve, which provides free Chapter 7 bankruptcy assistance to low-income New Yorkers:
Note: Selection for the Impact Challenge will remove you from participation in the Case Study Competition
